March 8, 2012 The Problem at the tables and Gel in my hair… So, just another round at the craps table right? Well, maybe not. This guy walks up, there’s an older guy next to me and he wants to squeeze in. The old guy says , “I Like being next to the stick man because I cannot hear very well.” The kid says,” I’ll tell you all the numbers, can I get in?” Reluctantly, he let him in. He whips out $2k and buys in. He keeps saying over and over that today he’s taking his money out of here. You can tell the dealers are annoyed by him. The next thing that caught my ear was he said, “$100 each on all the hard ways, no homo!” He continues to bet $800-$1000 on the field bet. If you don’t know, look it up. Not a good move. He hits some, he loses some. He is losing more than he hits. Bets $500-$700 in addition to the field bets. At one time my two red $5 chips were on the place line. He just hit a field bet for about $1500 in green $25 chips. He rakes it in like at the poker table and when he does, he take smy $10 with him. I said, I believe you raked my chips as well. He throws me a$25 chip. I tell him it was only two red, ten dollars. He says it’s ok. I said, no, I’ll just take my $10. He says “ but you have gel in your hair.” I repeated it back to him and say, “Did you just say I had gel in my hair?” He said, “Yeah man, that’s why I gave you more than I should because the only white guys that wear gel in their hair are Italian mafia dudes and I don’t want to piss you off!” Now that was funny! At that point, I tried to talk him out of the field bets but he liked betting it. So he dips into his pocket. Throws out $5k more. They give him more chips. He splashes the felt with” $100 don’t come bets, no homo”. The dealer tells him to place his money down and don’t throw it at her. He says he’s sorry and when he places the bet, does it again. She asked him to not throw it and to place it down. The third time he does it, she tells him that the bet he is making is a self-service area and he can place it himself. She works too hard to keep telling him what to do over and over. After that he did much better on putting his money down. He did not however do better in his winnings. After burning threw about $10k, he went and got more $$ form the cashier. He came back and was not quite as aggressive. He lost again, moved to another table and was there for twenty more minutes and was gone. I asked the crew if he lost or won and he lost. The total time was about 50 minutes. The player was Adrien
Broner. Here
is his info. Seems to be the real deal
in the ring, not so much at the tables.
