Football, The Bet II, New Games, New Logo
The Super Bowl just got over. What a game. Probably one of the best ones I have seen in years. I didn’t have much on the game. $5 on the coin flip, $10 on New England to cover by 3.
The Bet II
I won the prop bet with Eddie who said the average of his finish as well as Joel’s finish combined would be better than mine. Well, I won. The gap was too big to over come so Eddie paid me before the last week of poker in an all out effort to jellyroll me. Did not work. Even paid me with a $50 bill as part of the payout (the fellas believe that a $50 bill is bad luck in the gambling world, I do not!) I am wondering if he will put anything on the next year which starts in March. I guess I can only hope.
New Game
When I started playing in the casinos many, many years ago, I started playing slots and loved it. Then I moved to Black Jack and loved it. The book Bringing Down The House was so good and really got me thinking differently about the game of black jack. Then came poker. Texas Holdem. Thanks Joel. I had so much fun playing and continue everyday to work on my game. Then, one night after a charity poker event for the Lakota Basketball team, I was asked to go to Hollywood Casino to play craps. Again like poker, I had never played, knew nothing about the game but was willing to go and have some fun. My guy DJ got me hooked. We won that night. So, like poker, I went to figure out all the details of the game. Dice setting is not perfect but I do believe that it alters the roll and can help in efforts to make money at the craps table. I can only speak for myself but so far at the craps table, so good! Results are very positive. It’s a quick game, conversation is good and I have fun doing it. New Logo
If you haven’t noticed in the upper left corner, with my new passion for craps, I have added the dice to the logo. I don’t want to get too crazy with it but adding the dice only makes sense. There will probably be more changes with it over time. I have not decided what else to add but I am sure it will evolve. Hey, it’s just me being me.
