I have spent a lot of recent off time from work working on tournament strategy and have been running pretty good online. Play has been aggressive and it has been paying off. I posted on twitter that Kyle said, “…On a side note, has @SirBucky ever won a poker month yet? Just sayin.” So you can see that added motivation to this month’s poker league game. Contrary to Krista’s twitter post and picture of me as an old man winning a league month (not funny Krista!), I did win it! Currently I believe I am tied with Kyle for second place in the standings. Kyle was first in front of me by nine points and DJ was second by three in front of me. Kyle went out in 10th so I made exactly nine points on him. DJ went out third so I gained two on him. Pretty tight race as we are in month six of play. Stay tuned to next months results! Here is a pic of the winning hand:
I have to update what is now known as “The Bet”. Joel took a bad hit early this month when his KK was up against JJ. A Jack did hit on the turn and he was out. Sooooo, that means I have picked up 15 more points in separation. Still six more months to play so it’s not over yet! (kinda sounds like I’m pulling for Joel!?!)
FTOPS is running on Full Tilt. I am playing at 4pm in FTOPS Event #9. If I do something AMAZING, I’ll post another blog soon. If not, later!
