The LAPC is going on and currently Daniel Negreanu is the chip leader. I hope he hangs on and pulls out a win. It’s awesome how you can follow the event that is so far away. Technology is a great thing! Don’t get left behind!
I played my usual Sunday game which is a 45 man tournament. Last week, I finished third. This one was a different story in a lot of ways. I started off playing loose and lost the first three hands and was down to 850 after starting with 1500. I then tightened up super tight. After about an hour I finally got the chance to double up to 1700. Then I went back to my normal game play. I kept winning hands and building my stack and made it to the final table. As you know, I like to capture pictures along the way and post them. I was so sure that I would not get anywhere; I didn’t even bother to take screen captures when I was down to 850 in chips. I made it to the final table and everything went as planned. It got down to heads up and I was the chip leader. After going back and fourth for a while, the break came and I was only slightly ahead. The player wanted to make a deal and I declined. After the break, he became the chip leader when he flopped trip 7s. Fighting back, I went back in front with The Schmidt, K10o against his K7o with a K on the flop. Shortly there after we were all in and I won with a flush.
Good day of poker! Now time to read a little more before the big hockey game at 3:15 and then dinner with the family!
